Book a PALS Course
Most people who book a PALS course are juggling more than one card: BLS that expires soon, ACLS for emergency work, or a unit manager who needs everyone current before an inspection. Here is how to book PALS so it fits with the rest.
The short version
Choose HeartCode or classroom, check your BLS dates, pick a PALS date in the form (or the classroom PALS page), and our team confirms and sends payment details. Units can book on-site sessions.
HeartCode PALS for renewals and staff who treat children daily; classroom PALS for first-timers and adult-trained staff. Classroom dates are on the classroom PALS course page; HeartCode skills sessions are in the form above and on the HeartCode PALS page.
PALS needs current BLS. If your BLS expires within a few months, renew it first so you do not start PALS on a lapsed card — see BLS renewal. Emergency staff who also need ACLS often book the two on consecutive days — see PALS vs ACLS and booking ACLS.
Enter your name as on your passport or licence — it appears on your PALS certificate. Our team contacts you to confirm; payment is by secure card link or at the centre. For costs, see PALS fees.
Complete the precourse self-assessment or HeartCode online part and follow the PALS study guide.
Managers usually need to keep a minimum number of PALS holders on each shift. Send us your staff list with expiry dates and we will propose on-site sessions that stagger renewals. You can also use the group booking form.
