About Course
Participants must be trained and assessed in:
- Adult CPR (hands-on compressions + rescue breaths)
- Child CPR (optional module depending on course type)
- Infant CPR (if included in pediatric version)
- AED operation (Automated External Defibrillator use)
- Choking relief (adult, child, infant)
- Scene safety & emergency response steps
- Basic life-threatening emergency recognition
Skills Assessment Requirements
To successfully complete the course, students must:
- Demonstrate high-quality chest compressions
- Show correct rescue breathing technique
- Correctly operate an AED device
- Perform choking relief maneuvers
- Pass instructor-led hands-on evaluation
Certification Requirements
- Must complete full attendance + practical skills test
- Must pass instructor evaluation
- Receive ASHI CPR & AED certification card
- Certification validity: 2 years
