We quote BLS individually rather than publishing a single number, because the honest answer depends on which route you take, how many people are training and whether the instructors travel to you. What follows is what a fee normally includes, what genuinely moves it, and how to get a written figure for your situation in a day or so — without a sales call.
For a blended booking the fee also covers the AHA HeartCode online course key. That key is issued per learner by the American Heart Association and is a real cost, which is one reason a genuine online-plus-skills course is never the cheapest thing on the market.
By some distance the largest factor. A single seat on a scheduled public session carries the full share of instructor time and equipment. A department booking twelve people spreads the same instructor day across twelve, so the per-person figure drops sharply. If you have colleagues in the same position, book together.
At our Al Reem Island centre the room and the equipment are already there. On-site delivery means instructors, manikins and AED trainers travelling to you, which adds cost — but for a group it is still usually cheaper overall than sending everybody across the city, and far cheaper in lost clinical hours.
These are priced differently. Blended trades classroom instructor hours for an AHA online course key and a short skills slot. Which one works out better depends on the group and the roster; we will price both if you ask.
A surprising number of enquiries are for the wrong course. A non-clinical team asking for BLS often needs Heartsaver CPR AED, which is a different and less expensive course. If you are not certain, read BLS vs CPR before requesting a quote.
There is a visible market in "instant" online BLS certificates at a fraction of any real course fee. They do not include a hands-on assessment, so they are not AHA Provider cards, and UAE healthcare employers do reject them. The cost of one of those is not the fee — it is paying twice and losing the time.
The check is simple: a legitimate BLS course always ends with an instructor watching you perform on a manikin, and the card it produces can be verified with the awarding body.

For a single seat you do not need to wait for a quote at all: pick a date on the BLS course page, register, and we will confirm the fee with the booking.
It is quoted per booking rather than published as a single figure, because the fee depends on group size, whether training happens at our centre or at your premises, and whether you take the classroom or the HeartCode blended route. Email training@safetyfirstmed.ae with your headcount and preferred dates for a written quote.
Yes. The American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard, valid for two years and verifiable with the AHA, is included on successful completion. So are the manikins, masks, bag-mask devices and AED trainers used during the session.
Considerably. A group booking spreads one instructor day across everyone attending, so the per-person figure falls as the group grows. For a department it is usually cheaper to have instructors come on site than to send staff out individually, and it costs far fewer clinical hours.
Tell us the headcount, the emirate and the dates that suit you, and we will come back with a written figure for classroom, blended and on-site delivery.
