BLS Course Fees

BLS Course Fees in the UAE

We quote BLS individually rather than publishing a single number, because the honest answer depends on which route you take, how many people are training and whether the instructors travel to you. What follows is what a fee normally includes, what genuinely moves it, and how to get a written figure for your situation.

The short answer

A BLS course fee in the UAE covers instruction by an AHA certified instructor, the manikins and AED trainers used in the session, the skills assessment, and the two-year AHA Provider eCard. The three things that move the price are group size, whether training happens at our centre or yours, and classroom versus HeartCode blended. Group size matters most by a wide margin.

What a BLS fee normally includes

  • Instruction by an American Heart Association certified BLS instructor.
  • Equipment for the session — adult, child and infant manikins, pocket masks, bag-mask devices and AED trainers.
  • The skills assessment itself, including a second attempt if a skill needs correcting.
  • The AHA BLS Provider eCard on successful completion, valid two years and verifiable with the AHA.

For a blended booking the fee also covers the AHA HeartCode online course key. That key is issued per learner by the American Heart Association and is a real per-head cost, which is one reason a genuine online-plus-skills course is never the cheapest thing on the market.

What moves the price

Group size

By some distance the largest factor. A single seat on a scheduled public session carries the full share of instructor time and equipment. A department booking twelve people spreads the same instructor day across twelve, so the per-person figure drops sharply. If you have colleagues in the same position, book together — it is the one decision that reliably changes the number.

Where the training happens

At our Al Reem Island centre the room and the equipment are already there. On-site delivery means instructors, manikins and AED trainers travelling to you, which adds cost — but for a group it is still usually cheaper overall than sending everybody across the city, and far cheaper once you count the clinical hours lost to travel.

Classroom or HeartCode blended

These are priced differently. Blended trades classroom instructor hours for an AHA online course key and a short skills slot. Which one works out better depends on the group and the roster; we will price both if you ask, and we will tell you which we think is better value for your situation.

Which course you actually need

A surprising number of enquiries are for the wrong course. A non-clinical team asking for BLS often needs Heartsaver CPR AED, which is a different and less expensive course. If you are not certain, read BLS vs CPR before requesting a quote.

Be careful with very cheap certificates

There is a visible market in "instant" online BLS certificates at a fraction of any real course fee. They do not include a hands-on assessment, so they are not AHA Provider cards, and UAE healthcare employers do reject them. The cost of one of those is not the fee — it is paying twice and losing the time, usually at the worst possible moment during onboarding.

The check is simple. A legitimate BLS course always ends with an instructor watching you perform on a manikin, and the card it produces can be verified with the awarding body. If either of those is missing, the price is irrelevant.

Getting a quote

Email training@safetyfirstmed.ae or call +971 55 761 9841 with four things:

  1. How many people need certifying.
  2. Whether it is first-time certification or renewal.
  3. At our centre or at your premises — and which emirate.
  4. Your preferred window of dates.

With those four we can normally come back with a written figure the same working day. For a single seat you do not need to wait for a quote at all: pick a date on the BLS course page, register, and we will confirm the fee with the booking.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a BLS course cost in the UAE?

It is quoted per booking rather than published as a single figure, because the fee depends on group size, whether training happens at our centre or at your premises, and whether you take the classroom or the HeartCode blended route. Email training@safetyfirstmed.ae with your headcount and preferred dates for a written quote.

Is the AHA eCard included in the fee?

Yes. The American Heart Association BLS Provider eCard, valid for two years and verifiable with the AHA, is included on successful completion. So are the manikins, masks, bag-mask devices and AED trainers used during the session.

Is group BLS training cheaper per person?

Considerably. A group booking spreads one instructor day across everyone attending, so the per-person figure falls as the group grows. For a department it is usually cheaper to have instructors come on site than to send staff out individually, and it costs far fewer clinical hours.

Do you charge extra to travel to Dubai or the Northern Emirates?

On-site delivery outside Abu Dhabi is quoted with travel included in the figure rather than added afterwards, so the number you are given is the number you pay. Tell us the emirate and the headcount and we will confirm whether travelling to you or scheduling you at our centre works out better.

Is there a discount for renewals?

Renewal is the same course as first-time certification, so it is priced the same way. Where renewals save money is in group timing: staff certified together expire together, and recertifying them in one on-site session is the cheapest way to handle it.
