Classroom BLS
Classroom BLS is the traditional way to take an AHA BLS course: everything — teaching, practice and testing — happens in one visit with an instructor, at our centre on Al Reem Island.
In short
Instructor-led from start to finish, with the most hands-on practice time. Best for first certifications and for anyone who has not practised CPR for a long time. Same AHA BLS Provider eCard as HeartCode.
The instructor uses AHA video segments to demonstrate each skill, then you practise it straight away on adult and infant manikins with feedback. Scenarios build up to two-rescuer and team CPR. The day ends with the skills tests and written test — see the BLS exam.

The session opens with the chain of survival and why the first minutes matter. Each skill then follows the same pattern: a short AHA video demonstration, the instructor highlighting what is assessed, and practice on adult and infant manikins until your depth and rate are consistently in range. Two-rescuer scenarios, the AED and choking relief follow, and the session finishes with the skills tests and the written test. The full list of topics is in the BLS syllabus.
