Classroom ACLS
Classroom ACLS is the traditional way to take an AHA ACLS course: an instructor teaches the cases in the room, you practise every role at skills stations, and you are tested before you leave. Course details and dates are on the classroom ACLS course page.
In short
All teaching, practice and testing with an instructor. Best for first-time providers and anyone who has not managed an arrest recently. Same AHA ACLS Provider eCard as HeartCode.
The course moves through the core cases — respiratory arrest, the arrest pathways, post-arrest care, bradycardia, tachycardia, ACS and stroke — with video, discussion and hands-on stations. You rotate through the team roles on a manikin with a rhythm simulator, then lead a Megacode. See the ACLS syllabus.

Expect stations for high-quality BLS, airway management, the arrest pathways with a rhythm simulator, bradycardia and tachycardia with pacing and cardioversion, and post-arrest care. Every candidate practises each team role before leading a Megacode, so nobody leads a scenario for the first time under test conditions. Case discussions cover ACS and stroke, which are harder to simulate on a manikin but just as important in practice.
