Describe the different modes of mechanical ventilation
Understand how ventilators control breath delivery, including phase and control variables
Discuss key variables in mechanical ventilation, including PEEP, pressure support, tidal volume and minute ventilation
Discuss the clinical implications of mechanical ventilation and the weaning process
